UPDATE: SANCTIONS AGAINST RUSSIA
According to Art.3g Para.1 Letter d) of Regulation (EU)No. 833/2014
We refer to the recently published amendments to the EU-Sanctions against Russia in the area of the import ban on iron and steel products directly or indirectly into the European union.
The relevant adaptations to the sanction situation were published in accordance with Article 3g (1) (d) of regulation (EU) No. 833/2014 and include an import ban on iron and steel products made from Russian input materials from 30th September 2023.
This confirmation is valid for the period:
01.10.2023 – 31.12.2024
We herewith declare that no iron and steel materials with Russian origin are included in our products.
ECO CREDENTIALS: Please remember our products have always been designed and manufactured to last. They are NOT classed as single use. The majority of our products are made from zinc alloy which is a very sustainable material option. Plus with laser engraving as our branding method the item is NOT tainted and so can avoid going to Landfill at the end of its very long life!
Recyclable: Zinc alloys are completely recyclable and can be reused many times, which can help reduce the environmental impact of non-recyclable materials. Zinc alloy is also a non-ferrous metal that can be recycled indefinitely without losing its chemical or physical properties.
Energy Efficient: Zinc alloys require less energy to transform, which makes them more sustainable from an energy perspective.
Non-toxic: Zinc is non-toxic, which makes it a responsible choice for the environment.
Durable: Zinc is durable and resistant to corrosion.
NEW FOR OUR KEYRING RANGE – all stock will be presented as standard in eco 2 piece recycled card boxes with NO plastic moulded inner tray.
Where outer individual bags are required for items to protect the item from scratching we use low density polyethylene bags that can be recycled.
Where possible we manage our stock cycle to bring in by sea to reduce our carbon footprint.
We use recycled card in all our outer tuck box packaging and for our deluxe presentation boxes.
We are working closely with our factories on new initiatives to manufacture using recycled metals and to reduce their own carbon footprint.
